The Humble Bundle that Engadget covered on March 27, 2025 was the Dice and Destiny collection: six role-playing games for a price of about $15, with a coupon for a seventh-game sequel and a share of proceeds directed to CARE. It was a limited-time digital offer, not a standing product, so the details below describe that 2025 bundle. Whether any version of it is on sale today should be checked directly on Humble Bundle, because the reporting does not establish current pricing, terms, or coupon validity.
Which RPGs were in the Dice and Destiny bundle?
Engadget’s report, written by Igor Bonifacic, named six titles. The table lists them with the descriptions the article gave for each, and marks where it said nothing.
| Game | Style or tone as described in the 2025 report | Notes from the report |
|---|---|---|
| Broken Roads | Not stated | Included in the collection |
| Citizen Sleeper | Science fiction | Named by the author as one of three standouts |
| Disco Elysium | Not stated | Named by the author as one of three standouts |
| Pillars of Eternity | Not stated | Included in the collection |
| Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire | Not stated | Included in the collection; the sequel to Pillars of Eternity |
| Roadwarden | Dark fantasy | Named by the author as one of three standouts |
The standout picks are the author’s own judgments, not rankings or review scores. The six games span very different styles, so a reader’s taste matters more than the bundle’s total count.
What did the bundle cost, and where did the money go?
Engadget reported a price of about $15 for the collection. That was the price in March 2025. It is not a current figure, and it did not describe any tiered or pay-what-you-want structure beyond what the report stated.

The report said the purchase supported CARE, which it described as an NGO that fights hunger and poverty. The article did not state how much of the sale would go to the charity or what percentage applied, so the donation amount cannot be stated from that coverage. Anyone who cares about the charity split should look for the terms printed on the bundle page at the time they were buying.
What was the coupon?
The bundle also included a coupon for 15 percent off Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. The coupon was tied to the 2025 offer and carried its own expiry terms, which the report did not provide. A coupon from a past bundle should not be assumed to still work on the store today.

- If you like narrative choice and a strong sense of voice, the three titles the author singled out, Disco Elysium, Citizen Sleeper, and Roadwarden, are the most direct match with what the report emphasized.
- If you prefer long, party-based CRPG combat and exploration, the two Pillars of Eternity titles are the bundle’s most relevant pair, with Deadfire continuing the story of the first game.
- If you already own any of the six games, subtract them from the total value before deciding. A bundle is only a good deal for the games you would actually play.
- If you care about the charity, confirm the donation split on the live page. The 2025 reporting does not give a figure.
Before you buy: a short checklist
- Confirm the bundle is live and read the current price on Humble Bundle, not from an older article.
- Check the end date, since limited-time bundles close without a fixed notice period.
- Verify that every title you want is included and that it is listed for your platform.
- Check whether the coupon is still valid and what it applies to.
- Look up the CARE donation terms on the live bundle page.
