When did The Last of Us Part II Remastered come out on PC?
The PC release date was April 3, 2025. Naughty Dog announced the date on December 13, 2024, naming Steam and the Epic Games Store as storefronts. The Steam listing also gives April 3, 2025 as the release date.

What was included in the PC release?
The PC edition brought over additions from the 2024 PS5 Remastered release, including the roguelike survival mode No Return, Guitar Free Play, and hours of developer commentary. Naughty Dog’s March 20, 2025 feature announcement also described PC-specific display, graphics, and control options.
Graphics, frame rates, and displays
- NVIDIA DLSS 3 Super Resolution and Frame Generation, plus AMD FSR 3.1 and FSR 4.
- VSync and frame-rate caps, including an uncapped option, along with adjustable quality settings.
- DirectStorage support and display configurations in 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9 formats, including triple-monitor setups.
These are announced features, not a promise of particular frame rates or compatibility on every PC. The available information here does not establish current minimum or recommended hardware requirements.

Controls and audio
The game supports keyboard and mouse remapping, adaptive input, and gamepads. DualSense features include haptics, but a wired connection is required for the full range of in-game DualSense features. A DualSense is optional: keyboard and mouse or another supported controller are alternatives. The announcement also lists 3D audio; device and setup compatibility can affect which features are available.
What changed in No Return?
The PC launch additions announced for No Return included Bill and Marlene as playable characters, each with a distinct playstyle, and four maps: Overlook, School, Streets, and Nest. Naughty Dog said these additions, accompanying trophies, and bug fixes would also come to PS5 in free patch 2.0.0 on the PC launch date.

Is a PlayStation Network account required?
No. PSN sign-in is optional. Players who chose to sign in were offered 50 in-game points and an Ellie skin featuring Jordan A. Mun’s jacket from Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, according to PlayStation’s January 29, 2025 announcement.
