Top 2025 Pokémon TCG chase cards by reported raw market price
The ranking below uses TickerMint’s year page, which says it covers 1,748 cards across seven sets and reports TCGplayer market prices for raw cards in any condition. Its figures are dated October 4, 2026; they are not graded-card values or a promise of what a particular copy will sell for.

| Rank | Card | Set | Reported raw market price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Umbreon ex 161/131 | Prismatic Evolutions | $1,326.66 |
| 2 | Mega Charizard X ex 125/094 | Phantasmal Flames | $659.80 |
| 3 | Victini 171/086 | Black Bolt | $627.44 |
TickerMint’s 2025 card-price page supplies all three prices and the observation date. Its displayed top-three rows are the basis for this order; the page’s additional summary text is inconsistent about cards beyond those rows, so no fourth-place ranking is included.
Notable set leaders beyond the top three
A separate set-level comparison from Pokespective, crawled in October 2026, gives useful context for other 2025 releases. Its figures are a separate snapshot and should not be treated as a continuation of TickerMint’s ranked table: the sources may use different data or methods.

- 3 Pokemon booster packs from various sets
| Set | Named set leader | Pokespective price |
|---|---|---|
| Destined Rivals | Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex 231/182 | $398.00 |
| Journey Together | Lillie’s Clefairy ex 184/159 | $90.67 |
| White Flare | Victini 172/086 | $554.95 |
Pokespective also lists Umbreon ex 161/131 at $1,323 and Victini 171/086 at $627.44. The Umbreon figure is close to, but not identical to, TickerMint’s $1,326.66; that difference is a reminder that listings from separate trackers are not one standardized quote. See Pokespective’s Pokémon TCG set tables for its set-level context.
Which releases count as 2025?
This comparison uses the set’s release year, rather than a card’s popularity or when it became a prominent chase. The Pokémon TCG card-search page dates Prismatic Evolutions to January 17, 2025; Journey Together to March 28; Destined Rivals to May 30; Black Bolt and White Flare to July 18; Mega Evolution to September 26; and Phantasmal Flames to November 14.

Raw market estimate, not a guaranteed sale
TickerMint describes its figures as TCGplayer market prices for raw copies in any condition and says its data refreshes daily. “Raw” means an ungraded card; “any condition” means the quoted figure does not represent a matched near-mint-only comparison. A damaged copy, a near-mint copy, and a professionally graded copy can command different amounts. The October 4, 2026 figure is a dated reference point, not a timeless value or an offer to buy.

Prices from different trackers are not interchangeable
Some card-price guides use near-mint raw averages rather than an any-condition market figure. Mint Vandal’s stated approach and prices differ materially from the selected TickerMint snapshot, so combining the figures or averaging them would create a number with no consistent methodology. For any purchase or sale, compare current listings for the same card, language, finish, condition, and grading status; include shipping and other costs when judging the total.
Rarity and grades are not established in this comparison
The cited ranking and set tables identify card names, numbers, sets, and prices, but do not consistently provide verified rarity or comparable graded-card data. Those details are therefore left out rather than inferred from a card’s price or popularity.

Does a valuable chase card make its packs a good buy?
No conclusion about pack profitability follows from a high single-card price. The cited price snapshots do not establish the odds of pulling these cards or the expected value of opening sealed product. A chase card’s market price tells you about an individual card at a particular moment; it does not show how likely a pack is to contain it or what the rest of a box will be worth.

Phantasmal Flames has additional set-level chase interest: GamesRadar’s review describes its two rarest Mega Charizard X ex cards as the set’s highest secondary-market cards and says Dawn is the only other chase card it identifies above $50. That is qualitative set context, not a dated price ranking; it does not replace the individual-card snapshot above. Read the GamesRadar+ Phantasmal Flames review for that assessment.
