The Oppressor is found in the Killing Floors of the Dissected Plateau in the Fadefields, after you progress the story and complete “A Lot to Process.” The three legendaries listed by both consulted guides are Asher’s Rise, Streamer, and Blood Analyzer; Game8 also lists Onslaught, but Mobalytics does not, so that drop is not confirmed across the available lists. In the fight, dodge laterally across bomb runs, wait for the flying boss to give you a firing window, and use Shock against its shield before switching to Cryo or Corrosive for its armor, as Mobalytics advises.
Where to find The Oppressor
The Oppressor is a flying-machine boss in the Killing Floors area of the Dissected Plateau, in the Fadefields. Mobalytics says the encounter becomes accessible after progressing the main story and completing “A Lot to Process”; it takes place after rescuing Zadra and escaping the facility. What legendary items does The Oppressor drop?
Mobalytics and Game8 both list three legendaries: Asher’s Rise, Streamer, and Blood Analyzer. Game8 also lists Onslaught; Mobalytics does not. The available lists therefore do not establish whether Onslaught is a dedicated Oppressor drop. Neither source provides a drop chance, so there is no reliable Oppressor-specific percentage to give.

How to beat The Oppressor
Mobalytics describes the encounter as fully aerial, with bomb runs and rockets. The key is to spend attack windows on aiming rather than trying to chase the boss while it is moving.
During bomb runs
- Prioritize dodging over shooting during the pass. The bombs follow a line, so move laterally across that line rather than running along it.
- Do not chase the flying boss. Wait for it to stop or move closer, then use the clearer firing window.
Against rockets
- Move below the boss or use objects in the arena for cover.
- When you have a safe shot, aim at the orange core; Mobalytics says hits there deal extra damage.
Choose elements for each phase
The guide says The Oppressor begins with a shield and then becomes armored. Its recommended sequence is Shock against the shield, followed by Cryo or Corrosive against the armor. Treat this as the guide’s elemental advice, not a guarantee that every weapon or build will perform identically. Mobalytics’ combat advice

Build for ranged windows and movement
Because the boss spends the encounter airborne, a loadout that can land accurate ranged hits during brief openings is practical. When choosing weapons and equipment, consider whether you can exploit the suggested element switch and reposition or take cover during attacks. The available guides do not establish a best character, weapon, or build.
Collecting loot after the fight
Borderlands Support’s January 29, 2026 update notes say: “Prevented loot items from dropping into unintended areas after defeating The Oppressor or killing all enemies in Ripper Drill Site Saw’s Clench.” That patch addressed a known loot-placement problem, but it does not prove that every possible loot-loss issue is impossible.
