Valve announced it for PlayStation Network with an August 21, 2012 release date, and the planned version stood out for supporting PlayStation Move as well as keyboard and mouse.
Which PlayStation got Counter-Strike?

The original Counter-Strike is a separate release. Valve’s Steam listing dates that game to November 1, 2000, following its beginnings as a mod in 1999. Its tactical team missions include attacking sites and rescuing hostages. The PlayStation story, by contrast, is about the later CS:GO entry and its PS3 version.

What made the PS3 version unusual?
More than one way to aim
Valve said the PS3 version supported PlayStation Move, the PlayStation Move sharp shooter, and keyboard and mouse. The announcement also said matchmaking would account for player performance and input device. That is a notable range of control options for a console shooter, but the 2012 announcement documents what was supported then; it does not establish which options remain usable today.

Modes beyond classic Counter-Strike
The announcement named Arms Race and Demolition as additional modes alongside classic gameplay. It did not provide enough detail to establish every mode’s exact implementation or current online availability, so those points should not be inferred from the announcement alone.
What did it cost at launch?
Valve’s 2012 announcement listed a $14.99 launch price and a $11.99 pre-order price for PlayStation Plus members. Those were historical prices for the announced release, not current prices or evidence that the game can still be purchased.

Was there a Counter-Strike game for PS2?
The PS2 project sometimes encountered in searches is not an official retail port. Its creator describes Counter Stike PS2 as a recreation or demake, and the project page marked it pre-alpha. It is evidence of a community project, not a Valve or Sony PS2 release.
