Mycopunk is the one PlayStation Plus Extra Game Catalog title reported early for October 2026. What is the early-revealed PS Plus Extra game?
The game is Mycopunk, developed by Pigeons at Play and published by Devolver Digital, according to Push Square. Both Push Square and PlayStation Lifestyle report that the game will release for PS5 and launch directly into the PS Plus Extra catalog on October 20, 2026.

Mycopunk is described as a cooperative first-person shooter. Push Square characterizes it as a mission-based looter shooter for up to four players. Its premise centers on a mismatched squad of robot outcasts hired by the SAXON corporation for one last chance at profitable work.

The reported date is October 20, 2026, the same day as its reported PS5 release. PlayStation Lifestyle and Push Square both report the date and Extra placement. The sources establish the planned catalog date, but do not establish a universal regional availability guarantee.

Is this the full October PS Plus lineup?
No. The early reveal covers one Extra catalog title; PlayStation Lifestyle’s October 5 report said the full October Extra and Premium lineup was expected to be announced later. Sony’s October Monthly Games are a separate part of PlayStation Plus, not the Extra/Premium Game Catalog.

Sony’s official October Monthly Games announcement lists F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, available from October 6 through November 2, 2026. Those are the Monthly Games, not the reported October 20 Extra catalog arrival of Mycopunk. Sony notes that Monthly Games availability can differ by region and advises checking the regional PlayStation Store.
