The Sandbox announced a multi-year partnership with Bruce Lee Enterprises on April 23, 2025. The plan paired a Bruce Lee-themed social hub in AdventureWorld: The Wildlands during Alpha Season 5 with a separate solo-player game, Tao of the Dragon. The announcement also described in-game and physical rewards, but the official experience listing still displays “Coming soon” and gives no opening date.
What The Sandbox and Bruce Lee Enterprises announced
The partnership was presented as a multi-year collaboration, not a dated schedule for every planned release. Its first appearance was slated for AdventureWorld: The Wildlands during Alpha Season 5. VentureBeat quoted The Sandbox COO Sébastien Borget: “Bruce Lee continues to inspire people worldwide.” VentureBeat’s April 23, 2025 announcement reported the partnership details.
The Sandbox later included Bruce Lee among the intellectual-property partners added to its platform during 2025 in its December 18, 2025 year-in-review. That retrospective confirms the partnership remained part of the platform’s year-in-review, but does not establish that the planned experiences had opened.
Two planned ways to play
The social hub
The announcement described a Bruce Lee-themed social space where fans could meet, play mini-games, and participate in reward pools associated with Avatar collections. This was the planned group-oriented component, set within AdventureWorld: The Wildlands during Alpha Season 5.

Tao of the Dragon
The second named experience was Tao of the Dragon, described as a solo-player game featuring exploratory quests and puzzles that revisit Bruce Lee’s history. The Sandbox’s Bruce Lee experience listing identifies the experience as single-player and displays 13 quests. Those listing details describe the page, not proof that the game is open to all players.
What rewards were announced
The proposed rewards mixed digital items with a physical-world item:

The announcement did not establish whether these rewards are currently obtainable, whether any are sold separately, or where a physical item would be distributed. The named physical reward should not be confused with an available retail product.

The official listing currently surfaced for the experience says “Coming soon.” It displays a last update of March 27, 2026, but provides no launch date. That status is what the listing shows; it does not establish availability or inaccessibility through every possible access route. The April 2025 announcement’s Alpha Season 5 timing was a plan, not confirmation of a current opening date.
