When did the Fortnite Simpsons shorts come out?
Fortnite’s November 1, 2025 release announcement listed four original animated shorts, each tied to the season’s gameplay and weekly mayhem:

Disney+ also described the shorts as distributed on social media. The cited announcements do not establish current availability by country or platform, so check the service in your region.
Is a new batch of shorts coming in 2026?
The official announcements cited here do not say that another batch of shorts is releasing in October 2026. A separate development announcement is about creators making Simpsons-themed Fortnite games, not a new set of animated episodes.

What the 2026 toolkit announcement means
Epic Games announced on June 18, 2026 that The Simpsons was joining Fortnite’s IP Partner Program. Epic said developers would be able to use an official toolkit built with Disney, 20th Century Studios, and Gracie Films, planned for later in 2026. Disney described it as Unreal Editor for Fortnite-ready. Neither announcement gave a specific public release date: Epic’s announcement and Disney’s announcement.

Epic reported that the fall 2025 Fortnite | Simpsons season brought in more than 80 million players and over 750 million play hours. Disney reported more than 80 million players and 780 million hours for the same season. Those are the companies’ separate published figures; their play-hour totals differ. Disney also said the launch short reached No. 1 on Disney+ Top 10 Today in the US, without specifying the chart date or methodology in its announcement.
