The Walking Dead crossover has already arrived in Dead by Daylight. Rick Grimes and Michonne Grimes joined as Survivors in the 2025 chapter; Daryl Dixon is available as a Legendary Outfit for Rick, not as a separate Survivor.
What’s included in The Walking Dead chapter?
Behaviour Interactive’s official chapter page identifies two exclusive chapter items: the Sheriff’s Hat badge and the Tank In Ruins banner. The chapter adds Rick and Michonne as playable Survivors, each with a set of perks, as listed in the September 26, 2025 version 9.1.0 patch notes.
Is Daryl Dixon a separate Survivor?
No. Daryl appears as a Legendary Outfit for Rick. Behaviour’s July 29, 2025 outfit announcement also lists Bomber Jacket Rick, Hospital Gown Rick, and outfits for Michonne.

A Legendary Outfit is a cosmetic for an existing character, not a standalone Survivor with a separate perk set. Behaviour says, “Using a Legendary Outfit requires purchase of a pre-existing character,” and notes that “characters that appear as Legendary Outfits do not have unique Perks.” In Daryl’s case, the outfit is for Rick; it does not add a separate set of Daryl perks.
How do you get the crossover content?
The chapter is downloadable content, not a physical Amazon product. On Steam, it requires the base game, Dead by Daylight, as stated in the Steam listing. Current price and other storefront details are not confirmed here. The Daryl outfit is a separate cosmetic option described in Behaviour’s outfit announcement; check the relevant platform storefront for availability and pricing.
