Battlestate Games confirmed the milestone, and the developer gave him a personalized in-game streamer item called Tigzresq: a splint that jokes about a failed earlier run.
How Tigz became the first player to escape
PC Gamer reported that Tigz completed an escape ending on December 1, 2025, and that Battlestate Games confirmed he was the first player to do so. The report placed the achievement just over two weeks after Escape from Tarkov’s full release. The milestone refers to completing an ending made available with version 1.0—not escaping during the years when that ending was unavailable. PC Gamer’s report gives the date and confirmation.
What is the Tigzresq streamer item?
Battlestate Games created a personalized streamer item named Tigzresq for Tigz. Insider Gaming describes it as a distinctive red-and-black splint measuring 67 inches long. That measurement is the outlet’s description, not a detail independently verified against the game’s data. Insider Gaming’s item report covers the award and its design.
The joke behind the splint
The item refers to a failed earlier attempt in which Tigz could not find a splint to treat an injury and died. The award turns that mishap into a personalized in-game reference. The item’s current availability and exact implementation in the live game have not been established.

How this differs from the Streamer Challenge prizes
Tigzresq was tied to Tigz’s first escape, not to the separate Streamer Challenge. Battlestate Games’ Telegram announcements named H4RD as the challenge winner and later said runner-up Magiik777 would also receive an item. Those awards were a different matter from Tigz’s achievement and personalized splint. The official Escape from Tarkov Telegram archive contains the separate challenge announcements.

Insider Gaming reported that Tigz reached the second-worst of four endings and separately described a promise from Battlestate chief Nikita Buyanov of something special for whoever completed the best ending. That context concerns the game’s different ending outcomes; it does not change the reason Tigz received Tigzresq. The report attributes those details to Buyanov, but the underlying developer post was not directly retrieved. Insider Gaming’s report on the first escape provides that account.
