Battlestate Games confirmed his first-player status, according to PC Gamer. This was a narrative endgame accomplishment—not simply a successful extraction from an ordinary raid.
What Tigz accomplished
Escape from Tarkov 1.0 introduced a narrative endgame in which players can try to escape the city. Tigz completed one of its endings a little over two weeks after the game’s November 15, 2025 launch. PC Gamer reported that Battlestate Games confirmed he was the first player to do so.
The distinction matters: the milestone was completing an escape ending in the 1.0 endgame, not being the first player ever to extract from a Tarkov raid.
Spoiler: the ending Tigz reached
GamesRadar reports that the endgame takes players to Terminal and offers four endings. Tigz’s outcome was not the best ending: game director Nikita Buyanov described it as the “second” worst ending.

After the accomplishment, the official Escape from Tarkov account congratulated Tigz with the line, “You survived. But at what cost.” Buyanov had watched the stream and had promised a special reward to the first player to complete the best ending: “The first who will complete the game with the Best Ending will definitely have something special from me!”

Escape from Tarkov 1.0 launched on November 15, 2025. Battlestate Games’ verified release trailer announced that date, and Steam Support lists November 15, 2025 as the PC game’s release date.
