Keyboard bindings are customizable. Patch 1.0.1 specifically added arrow-key movement rebinding, broader customization, and support for one-handed keyboard setups. The developer’s notes say, “Added support for rebinding movement controls to the Arrow Keys.” Read the developer’s Steam announcements.

The opening section is built around a mystery. Search the areas the game makes available, question passengers, collect evidence, inspect relevant scenes, and follow clues. The official description establishes these activities, but it does not provide a verified walkthrough or puzzle solutions.
Use clues and tools to deal with locked areas
Environmental puzzles, locked doors, decoded clues, and tools for reaching restricted areas are part of the listed design. Treat a blocked door or restricted deck as a cue to look for the intended clue or tool rather than assuming the game expects a particular unverified shortcut.

Reassess routes as the ship changes
During the sinking, water rises, decks tilt, lights fail, and paths may become blocked or change. A sensible implication is to pay attention to the environment and not assume that a route which was open earlier remains usable. This is advice inferred from the described mechanics, not a tested route or playthrough result.

The Steam listing names cold, stamina, blocked routes, and physical hazards as survival mechanics. It does not publish exact values, optimal resource strategies, or tested escape routes, so plan around what the game shows you rather than a supposedly universal resource formula.

The listing says discoveries and whom you save are up to you, and describes moral choices and multiple endings. It does not document the full decision tree; no specific choice-to-ending consequence can be stated from that description alone.
Use Free Roam to explore outside the main sequence
Free Roam was introduced in Patch 1.0.2 as a way to explore without following the main story path, investigation objectives, or survival sequence. The developer describes it as a way to revisit locations, take screenshots, and explore at your own pace. Patch 1.0.5 later added a day-and-night cycle to the mode. The announcement describes Free Roam as an initial version, so its features may depend on the current game update. Check the developer’s Steam announcements for update details.

What to do if movement or progression stops responding
Past patch notes list fixes for several movement and progression problems. Patch 1.0.1 addressed a movement lock after inspecting a doorknob in Sinclair’s Room and a related camera or movement issue. Patch 1.0.5 reported fixes for movement locking after a conversation, dialogue or notebook transitions leaving movement unresponsive, and other movement or progression issues. These notes describe issues addressed in updates, not proof that every current installation is affected.
- Confirm the game is updated. Check for available updates before repeating a workaround for an older reported problem.
- Recheck the control bindings. If movement or an action seems unavailable, verify the relevant binding in the current settings.
- For an objective-specific blockage, read the objective text closely. Patch 1.0.5 clarified a Level 6 objective that directs players to shoot the red box near a door; this is a documented example, not a universal solution for other progression issues.
Platform and PC requirements
The Steam listing identifies the game as single-player and gives Windows PC requirements. The developer announced October 7, 2026 as the Xbox launch date, but the announcement does not provide Xbox button mappings. Do not assume keyboard instructions correspond to a particular Xbox button layout.
