The spangram describes the theme and stretches across the board, touching opposite sides. For this puzzle, it has 13 letters when written without spaces, begins with D, ends with L, and runs mostly vertically. Its endpoints touch the first column and first row at one end, and the fourth column and last row at the other. Finding it highlights the path in yellow.

Which March 12 puzzle is this?
The date can be ambiguous in archived search results: March 12, 2026 is game #739, with the theme “Out-and-out.” March 12, 2025 was game #374, a different puzzle whose theme was “Bearing gifts” and whose spangram was PRODIGY. Do not use that earlier answer set for #739.

Find words related to the daily theme by tracing a continuous path through adjacent letters. Paths can turn and move in any direction. The spangram summarizes the theme, touches opposite sides of the board, and is marked yellow once found. Other theme words complete the board; three non-theme words trigger a letter hint.
