The company describes it as Nintendo’s first store-within-a-store in North America.
When does the Nintendo space in Toronto open?
The opening is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2026. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for the same time. The space is permanent and measures 1,500 square feet, according to the October 6 announcement from EB Games Canada and Nintendo of Canada.
Where is the Nintendo store-within-a-store?
It will be inside the EB Games flagship at 267 Yonge Street, Toronto. This is an EB Games-hosted Nintendo-branded retail space, not an announcement of a standalone Nintendo-operated Toronto store.
What will be at the new EB Games Nintendo space?
- Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and software
- Playable games at demo systems
- Nintendo-themed displays and photo opportunities
- Nintendo merchandise, including a selection of My Mario products
Some My Mario merchandise is to be exclusive to this Nintendo space at EB Games in Canada. The announcement does not name the specific games or merchandise, give prices or quantities, or confirm that every announced item will be available on opening day.

How it differs from Nintendo’s U.S. stores
Nintendo’s current U.S. retail locations page lists Nintendo NEW YORK and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO as its named stores. Nintendo announced the San Francisco location in May 2024 as its second official U.S. location, joining New York. Those are separate official-store locations; Toronto is described as a Nintendo space inside an EB Games store. See Nintendo’s retail locations page and its May 24, 2024 San Francisco announcement.
The U.S. stores’ published admission and reservation information applies to those locations only. The Toronto announcement does not state whether entry requires a reservation or give ongoing hours, so visitors should check EB Games Canada or Nintendo of Canada for updates before travelling.
