Turok: Origins is now scheduled for Spring 2027, not 2026. Saber Interactive announced the updated window on Steam on August 25, 2026; the store listing still gives no exact release date.
When is Turok: Origins coming out?
The current announced release window for Turok: Origins is Spring 2027. Saber Interactive’s Steam announcement, dated August 25, 2026, gives that window, while the listing continues to mark the exact release date as “To be announced.” No launch day is confirmed.
The 2026 expectation is outdated. In a September 15, 2026 interview, Saber Interactive chief creative officer Tim Willits was also reported as saying the game was coming in spring 2027. That GamesBeat report corroborates the official schedule.
What platforms and game details have been announced?
Saber’s original December 14, 2024 announcement named PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It described the game as a third-person science-fiction shooter with solo and cooperative play for up to three players. Steam’s current listing describes single-player and online co-op, dinosaur and alien enemies, and weapons that can be upgraded using DNA from fallen foes.

What is still unconfirmed?
- Exact release date: Steam lists it as “To be announced”; Spring 2027 is a window, not a specific day.
- Price: the cited announcement and listing do not confirm a current price.
- Physical editions: the available sources do not confirm a physical console edition or other retail format.
Saber’s games page listed the title as “Release: TBA” in January 2026, before the later Steam announcement. That older status has been superseded by the Spring 2027 window; it is not a competing current date. See Saber Interactive’s January 2026 games page.
