The Turtle Beach Stealth Pivot Wireless Smart Controller has rotating control modules that switch between a traditional stick-and-button arrangement and a layout aimed at fighting games. Turtle Beach lists it at $139.99; The Verge reported a $99.99 Amazon and Best Buy offer on February 19, 2026—about 29% below that list price. That report is historical, so it does not confirm a live discount today.
What makes the Stealth Pivot different?
Rather than moving individual controls or swapping whole faceplates, the Stealth Pivot rotates two modules to change the positions of its thumbsticks and buttons. A release switch on the back unlocks the modules. Turtle Beach describes one arrangement as a traditional layout and the revolved arrangement as suited to fighting games.
Turtle Beach calls the controller “designed for revolutionary gameplay on Windows PCs.” That is the manufacturer’s positioning, not an independent performance assessment.
What platforms and connections does it support?
| Platform | Connection options listed by Turtle Beach |
|---|---|
| Windows 10/11 PC | 2.4 GHz wireless transmitter, Bluetooth, or wired USB |
| Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One | Wired only |
| Android 8.0+ mobile devices | Bluetooth |
| Supported smart TVs | Bluetooth or wired USB |
The product is designed for Windows PCs, and wireless PC play is available through the included 2.4 GHz transmitter or Bluetooth. Do not assume it connects wirelessly to Xbox: Turtle Beach specifically lists Xbox support as wired only. Smart-TV compatibility is described as support for supported models, rather than every television.

Is the Stealth Pivot actually 30% off?
The Verge reported a $99.99 price at Amazon and Best Buy on February 19, 2026, describing it as $40 off Turtle Beach’s $139.99 price. The reduction works out to about 29%, which rounds to 30%. Turtle Beach’s US product page listed the controller at $139.99 when accessed in 2026.
The February report does not establish that either retailer still offers that price. Check the current retailer listing for the price, stock, and seller before buying; the available evidence here does not confirm a live sale on October 8, 2026.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Who should consider this controller?
The rotating modules are the key reason to consider the Stealth Pivot: they let a player switch control layouts on the same controller, particularly between a conventional arrangement and one intended for fighting games. Its PC wireless options, wired Xbox support, onboard profiles, and programmable quick-action buttons may also suit players who value configurable controls.
It is a less straightforward choice if wireless Xbox play is essential, since Xbox connections are wired only. At Turtle Beach’s listed $139.99 price, the layout mechanism and listed features are the basis for judging its value; the available sources do not establish how it compares in comfort, reliability, or gameplay performance with other controllers.
