In other words, the reports do not show that the official Minecraft game is embedded in X. They describe a separate browser game that people reach by opening a link shared in an X post.
How is the reported multiplayer supposed to work?
According to Tech News Vision and ENMNEWS, a player creates a world and shares its unique link on X. Other people who open that link are said to enter the same real-time session. The reports describe this link-based approach, but do not provide independent technical testing or enough detail to assess how the multiplayer works in practice. Were crypto sponsorships actually sold?
The reports describe sponsorship placements offered in exchange for cryptocurrency, not a confirmed completed sale. Tech News Vision lists placement at the top of a server list, a world sponsor leaderboard, and branding on a “Block Dragon.” Neither report establishes that a sponsor bought a placement, or specifies transaction terms. The available reports do not establish any affiliation with Mojang or show whether Tweetcraft uses Minecraft’s client, servers, code, or assets. Mojang Studios’ article “Minecraft and NFTs,” published on 20 July 2022, says that blockchain technologies are not permitted inside Minecraft client and server applications, and that Minecraft content may not be used with blockchain technology to create scarce digital assets.
