Ubisoft Forward took place on June 10, 2024, with extended gameplay presentations for Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows, alongside new game announcements and updates for existing titles. Here is what Ubisoft announced, organized by game. The dates and plans below are the details announced at the 2024 event, not confirmation of current availability or revised release schedules.
The headline gameplay showcases
Star Wars Outlaws
Ubisoft’s gameplay showcase followed Kay Vess to Tatooine as she sought an expert gunslinger to improve her blaster skills. The footage also showed Mos Eisley. Ubisoft listed Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Ubisoft Connect as platforms, with an August 30, 2024 release date. Assassin’s Creed Shadows
The extended gameplay sequence showed both playable characters. Yasuke was presented as a forceful fighter who relies on speed and power; Naoe uses stealth and tools. Ubisoft also highlighted changing seasons and weather as elements that affect gameplay. The announced release date was November 15, 2024, with early access from November 12 under certain edition or Ubisoft+ Premium conditions. These are historical announcement details. New games announced
Anno 117: Pax Romana
Ubisoft announced Anno 117: Pax Romana, a city-building game set in the Roman era. Players would build an empire and expand to distant shores. The event’s announced launch window was 2025. Ubisoft’s game page

Just Dance VR: Welcome to Dancity
The announced release date was October 15, 2024, for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 3. Ubisoft described a social hub and minigames as part of the VR experience. Ubisoft’s game page
MONOPOLY
Ubisoft announced a digital adaptation of MONOPOLY for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with a September 2024 launch target. The recap said couch and online play would support up to six players. Ubisoft’s game page

Updates, seasons and expansions
XDefiant
Season 1 was announced for July 2, 2024. The planned content included the GSK faction, Capture the Flag, and three weapons. Ubisoft named three maps—Clubhouse, Daytona, and Rockefeller—and said maps would roll out monthly. Ubisoft’s game page
The Division 2
Ubisoft announced Year 6 Season 1, First Rogue, for June 11, 2024. The update was described as adding a new story and changing endgame and seasonal progression. Ubisoft also announced access to level 40 without owning Warlords of New York, plus a free weekend scheduled for June 13–17, 2024. Those dates and access details refer to the event announcement. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
The Sky Breaker, announced as the game’s first story pack, was scheduled for July 16, 2024. Ubisoft said it would add a story, a new area, enemies, and timed festival challenges. Ubisoft’s game page
Prince of Persia
- Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown: Ubisoft announced the Mask of Darkness expansion and released the Divine Trials update on the day of the event.
- The Rogue Prince of Persia: The Temple of Fire update arrived on the event date. Ubisoft described the game as being in Early Access and gave 2025 as its launch target.
- Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake: Ubisoft announced a 2026 launch.

Ubisoft scheduled the June 10, 2024 presentation for 12:00 PM PDT / 9:00 PM CEST, preceded by a 30-minute preshow at 11:30 AM PDT / 8:30 PM CEST. Viewing options listed by Ubisoft included Ubisoft.com/Forward, Ubisoft Connect, Twitch, and YouTube. Ubisoft said YouTube offered English subtitles, audio description, and American Sign Language, while game trailers would have subtitles in multiple languages. What the announcements add up to
The show combined two extended gameplay demonstrations with a mix of new game reveals, release-window announcements, expansions, and seasonal updates.
