UFL mobile has reached 10 million downloads across iOS and Android, according to developer Strikerz Inc., and now supports physical controllers. The same update makes the previously limited-time 4v4 mode a permanent part of the game.
What the latest UFL mobile update changes
Strikerz announced the download milestone and controller feature in the same company update. A Bluetooth or USB-C gamepad can now be used with the mobile version, giving players an alternative to touchscreen controls. The announcement does not identify specific supported controller models, connection standards beyond the general controller feature, latency targets, or whether every game mode accepts controller input.

The update also permanently adds 4v4. Strikerz had introduced the mode as a limited-time event, then kept it in the regular game after positive community feedback. Players therefore no longer need to wait for a scheduled event window to access that format, although the developer has not published a detailed ruleset or matchmaking explanation in the announcement.

How UFL mobile reached this point
UFL mobile entered Mobile Soft Launch Stage 2: Global Access on 22 May 2026. That release made the game available across almost the entire world on iOS and Android while Strikerz continued preparing a full global launch later in 2026. “Global Access” is therefore not the same as a final worldwide launch announcement.

The mobile edition is designed specifically for phones rather than being a straight console port. The company has not stated that mobile and console or PC versions have identical features, progression or input behavior.
What the 10-million figure means
The milestone is a publisher-reported total of downloads across both iOS and Android. Strikerz has not supplied a platform-by-platform split, and the figure does not establish how many unique people downloaded the game, how many remain active or how many installed it more than once.

Yes, controller support is now an announced feature. A player shopping for an accessory should check the phone’s operating system, connector and Bluetooth support, then confirm that the controller works with the particular device before buying. A USB-C model may require a compatible port or adapter; Bluetooth avoids a cable but can introduce another pairing and battery step.

The Bottom Line
