What made Garcia controversial in 2024?
In June 2024, the New York State Athletic Commission settlement following Garcia’s positive test for ostarine after his April bout with Devin Haney resulted in the bout being changed to a no contest. The Guardian reported that the commission also imposed a one-year suspension, purse forfeiture, and a fine. Is Ryan Garcia in Undisputed now?
The cited official patch notes confirm his removal from the game in the October 2024 PC 1.0 release. That note does not establish whether he appears in any later build or edition. In an April 29, 2026 statement, studio head Ash Habib said the team planned no further content drops or updates for Undisputed and was focusing on a sequel in Unreal Engine. The studio said the game would remain playable across offline and online modes; that is its announced position, not a guarantee that online services will remain available indefinitely.
