What changed in Undisputed Update 1.1.3?
Steel City Interactive described Update 1.1.3 as an interim patch addressing concerns affecting gameplay, particularly online play. The official patch-notes page displays 14 October 2024, while Mike Straw’s matching Insider Gaming report is dated 14 November 2024. The available sources do not explain the discrepancy, so those dates should be treated as the dates displayed by their respective pages.

Blocking and punch balance
- Blocking: The developer changed block colliders so blocking would work as expected and fewer power punches would break through.
- Deontay Wilder: His stats were reduced and a trait was removed. Steel City Interactive said the changes should make his power hooks less impactful.
- Hook and straight stamina: The maximum stamina cost for hooks and straights increased.
- Power-punch stamina: Both short-term and maximum stamina costs increased. Repeated power punches in a single fight also gained a threshold after which they cost more stamina.
- Pushing: The stamina cost of pushing increased.
Stumble reaction, gassed hooks, and movement
- Critical stumble reaction: The reaction was temporarily removed because the developer considered it too punishing.
- Hooks when gassed: Hooks became slower for fighters who are gassed, with the stated aim of reducing their effectiveness and how readily they could be chained.
- Inside movement: The patch fixed a movement issue triggered by entering flat-footed movement while fighting on the inside.
These are the changes and intended effects announced by the developer, not independently measured outcomes. The notes provide no controlled before-and-after testing or figures showing how much the adjustments changed play.
How did ranked quitting change by platform?
The patch notes distinguish Xbox and PC Steam from PlayStation. In Update 1.1.3, Steel City Interactive said ranked quitters on Xbox and PC Steam should receive a loss and the opponent should receive a win. The same notes said the PlayStation fix was still pending and was hoped for in the December update.

The studio’s later Update 1.2 patch notes, dated 12 December 2024, said the PlayStation issue had been fixed: players quitting online games on PlayStation were being punished, and the remaining player was correctly awarded the win.

Which game does the update apply to?
Update 1.1.3 applies to Undisputed, Steel City Interactive’s boxing game. Its 11 October 2024 launch announcement lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Steam. That platform list establishes the game’s launch platforms, but does not confirm current availability or the stock of any particular edition.

What the patch notes establish—and what they do not
The notes document the changes Steel City Interactive announced, including the separate timeline for ranked quitting on PlayStation. They do not establish the current game version or quantify the changes’ effectiveness in live play. The publisher’s descriptions of reduced power-hook impact, better blocking, or less effective gassed hooks are intended effects, not measured findings.
