Undisputed Update 1.2 shipped on 12 December 2024. Its headline Career Mode addition let a fighter move up or down from their starting weight class, opening a path to pursue undisputed championships in three divisions with the same fighter. The update also added venues and outfits, expanded online queues, and adjusted punch stamina costs.
What Update 1.2 changed in Career Mode
The official Undisputed Update 1.2 announcement described the new ability as moving “up and down a weight class from their starting weight class.” Steel City Interactive said this could let a Career Mode fighter pursue undisputed status across three weight classes. This is a record of the feature as announced in December 2024; later updates may have changed how it works.

The Career Mode media feed also added boxing correspondent Gareth A Davies, described as the first in a series of real-life media figures and brands. The update included a range of Career Mode UI quality-of-life improvements, but the announcement did not itemize them.
New venues and free outfits
Update 1.2 added two venues: Cambrian Hall and Atlantis. The announcement describes Atlantis as an underwater, aquarium-like venue. All players also received an additional free outfit each for Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, themed around their first fight.

Online queues and gameplay adjustments
PLAION Player Support’s Update 1.2 patch notes list these online and gameplay changes:
- New Cruiserweight, Bantamweight, and Light Heavyweight queues for Online Quick Fight and Online Ranked.
- New knockdown and knockout animations, plus an animation cue for depleted block health.
- A slight reduction in stamina costs for missed punches and power punches. The stated aim was to make combinations and pressure fighting more viable.
- Audio and commentary quality-of-life work, custom-character performance optimizations, and a fix related to PlayStation quit penalties and win awards.
PLAION’s notes also mention additional bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements without listing every change, so the items above are not an exhaustive inventory of the patch.

The official Undisputed website lists the game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam; the PlayStation Store page confirms the PS5 version. Update 1.2 is a historical patch, not a claim about the game’s latest version or the exact state of these mechanics today. The cited patch notes establish what was announced or listed for the 12 December 2024 release.
