These specifications are for Unrivaled Heroes: 2.5D Brawler, Steam app 2690830, developed by GingerSun Games and published by Soft Source. The title is easy to confuse with Unruly Heroes, a different game with its own store listing and hardware requirements. A demo listing also appears in search results, but a demo is not the same product as app 2690830. Check the exact title and app number before comparing your computer with the figures in this article.

Four gigabytes is the listed minimum system memory. This figure describes the computer’s installed RAM, not graphics memory. The page does not explain how much memory the game itself consumes or how much free memory is needed while other applications are open. Close unnecessary programs when testing a borderline machine, but do not interpret that as an official performance recommendation.
Intel HD 4000 graphics
Intel HD 4000 is the named graphics baseline. The listing does not provide a discrete graphics-card model, a VRAM requirement, shader-model detail, or a newer Intel, AMD, or Nvidia equivalent. A newer integrated or dedicated GPU may be faster, but the store page alone cannot certify a particular model. Use the exact GPU name from your system when making a comparison.

DirectX 9.0
Steam lists DirectX version 9.0. This is a software API requirement, separate from the graphics processor itself. A computer can have a newer DirectX runtime while still failing another requirement, and the presence of DirectX 9.0 does not establish a frame-rate result. Verify the DirectX information reported by Windows rather than inferring it from the GPU brand.
5 GB of available storage
The store page asks for 5 GB of available space. That is the only storage figure published. It does not say whether the number includes future patches, save files, temporary installation data, or extra downloadable content. Make sure the destination drive has at least the stated free space before installation; keep in mind that an update could alter the amount required later.

The display note specifies 1240×720 or better. The unusual width is reproduced exactly as shown on Steam; do not silently change it to a different resolution when checking the requirement. “Better” indicates a display meeting or exceeding that horizontal and vertical baseline, but the listing does not promise that every aspect ratio, ultrawide mode, or higher-resolution setting will be supported.
How to check whether your computer meets the list
You can compare your machine with the published baseline without buying anything. Record the results before deciding whether the game is a realistic install when it releases.
- Check Windows: Open Settings, choose System, then About. Confirm that the edition reports Windows 10 or Windows 11.
- Identify the processor and memory: On the same About page, read Processor and Installed RAM. Compare the processor model with the Core i3 2.1 GHz reference and confirm that installed memory is at least 4 GB.
- Identify the graphics adapter: In Windows, open Settings → System → Display → Advanced display and follow the adapter details, or run
dxdiagand read the Display tab. Compare the reported GPU name with Intel HD 4000; the official list does not define equivalent models. - Check DirectX: In
dxdiag, read the System tab’s DirectX version. The requirement shown by Steam is 9.0. - Check free space: Open File Explorer, select the drive where you would install the game, and read the available-space figure. It must be at least 5 GB under the current listing.
- Check the display: Open Settings → System → Display and read the active resolution. The listed baseline is 1240×720 or better.
If one item falls below the published minimum, Steam’s page gives no alternative configuration or supported workaround. If all items meet it, you satisfy the stated baseline, but the listing still does not establish a particular frame rate or visual preset.

What “minimum” does—and does not—tell you
A minimum specification normally defines the lowest configuration a publisher intends to support. For this game, however, Steam supplies no accompanying test conditions. There is no official statement that the minimum hardware delivers 30 or 60 frames per second, maintains a particular resolution, or runs at low, medium, or high settings. You also cannot infer a recommended tier by doubling the RAM or substituting a newer processor; those would be personal guesses, not published guidance.
Performance can vary with the exact CPU model, GPU drivers, background software, thermal limits, and the game build released in the future. There is no recommended-specification tier yet
Some PC games publish separate minimum and recommended columns. This listing currently publishes only minimum requirements. Consequently, there is no official “best” upgrade to make and no evidence-based parts list for a new computer.
If your system barely meets the minimum, wait for the final store information, launch notes, or user reports before spending money. Buying a component solely because it is newer than Intel HD 4000 does not establish that it is necessary for this title. The available information supports checking compatibility, not a hardware shopping recommendation.

The game description advertises local co-op for up to four players. The requirement table does not add a controller, gamepad, keyboard count, or other peripheral to the hardware list. Therefore, a controller cannot be called mandatory from the current evidence. Players planning four-person local sessions should verify the final control options and input support on the Steam page or in the game’s release documentation when those details are published.

Co-op also does not change the stated CPU, RAM, GPU, DirectX, storage, or display requirements. Steam provides no separate specification for solo play versus local multiplayer.
Release status matters when you are checking requirements
As of October 13, 2026, the official Steam page labels Unrivaled Heroes: 2.5D Brawler as Coming soon and says it is not yet available on Steam. A pre-release listing can change: the publisher may revise requirements, add a recommended tier, clarify supported resolutions, or update the installation size before launch. Revisit the app 2690830 page immediately before downloading or upgrading hardware.
The current status also means there is no released build in the listing that can validate the minimum specifications. Do not treat screenshots, trailers, or a separate demo entry as proof of how the final game performs on your computer.
Common mistakes when interpreting the listing
- Using the wrong game: Unruly Heroes is a separate title. Its requirements cannot be substituted for those of app 2690830.
- Calling the list recommended specs: Steam labels these values as minimums, and no recommended tier is supplied.

- Exceeds every minimum: Your machine has more headroom than the listed baseline, yet Steam still provides no recommended target. You can reasonably expect only that you are above the published threshold, not a guaranteed frame rate.
This approach keeps the distinction clear between a requirement check and a performance prediction. Until the store page adds recommended hardware or a tested performance target, the minimum table is the complete official answer to what PC specs are needed.
