Used Cars Simulator reached version 1.0 and left Steam Early Access on October 9, 2026. Developed by DreamWay Games and published by PlayWay S.A., the single-player car-trading and repair sim began its Early Access run on April 9, 2025. The launch update highlights a new Season 3 quest line, locations and NPCs; the studio had previewed additional features before release.
What changed with the 1.0 release?
DreamWay Games’ September 18, 2026 announcement previewed two new car models, Season 3 quests, interface and balancing changes, gameplay and performance improvements, bug fixes, and optimization. Those were advance plans, not a complete launch-day changelog.

The October 9 launch notice confirms that the game has left Early Access and points to Season 3’s new quest line, connections across the island, locations, and NPCs. That update notice is reproduced by SteamDB, so its launch-day details are best attributed to that record rather than treated as a separate Steam store feature list.
The Early Access disclosure framed development as feedback-led: “We want the player community to assist us in shaping the game in a direction they appreciate. Our aim is to release a polished, engaging, and bug-free game.” The disclosure attributes the statement to the developers, not an individual.

What kind of game is Used Cars Simulator?
It is a physics-based, single-player open-world sandbox built around buying and selling cars. Players can source used or stolen vehicles, negotiate, repair and customize them, then resell them. The store description also covers exploration, NPC interactions, and quests; illegal activities can draw police attention.
Steam lists achievements, cloud saves, leaderboards, Family Sharing, and partial controller support. The store currently marks Steam Deck compatibility as “Playable.”
