Valor Mortis has 39 trophies and achievements, including a platinum trophy. The list covers 11 boss or story encounters, weapon and Transmutation upgrades, Amber and Eternal Guardist collectibles, five quests, and one-off combat and exploration challenges. PowerPyx published the complete list on September 9, 2026, and states that it syncs on Steam. The game launches on October 13, 2026, for PC through Steam and PS5.
Valor Mortis is a first-person action Soulslike from One More Level and Lyrical Games. You play William, a soldier of Napoleon’s Grande Armée resurrected from a battlefield grave, using parries, dashes, finishers, firearms, melee weapons and supernatural abilities in an alternate-history plague setting. Steam’s official listing describes the game and its achievement support.

How many trophies are in Valor Mortis?
There are 39 trophies in total: one platinum and 38 other trophies. The same requirements are used for the Steam achievement list reported by PowerPyx. The PS5 version has a $39.99 standard edition and a $59.99 Deluxe Edition in the US PlayStation Store; those prices are listed by PlayStation and can vary by region or later store changes.

These are the principal story checks. The Shrike trophy requires a rendezvous rather than a stated kill, so do not assume every entry is a conventional boss defeat.

Collection and upgrade trophies

The three maximum-upgrade trophies require one fully upgraded item in each relevant class, while Arsenal Absolute and Ambersmith are collection-wide goals. Keep resources available until you have identified which firearm, melee weapon and Transmutation you want to finish.
Combat, movement and interaction trophies

| Abyssal Eviction | Kill an enemy by pushing them into the abyss with Shield Bash. |
| Single Stroke | Shoot off a Risen Grenadier’s bucket. |
| God’s Trigger | Land 10 consecutive headshots or weak-point hits without missing. |
| Frenzied Flame | Ignite the bonfire in the castle. |
| Mind the Gap | Die by falling into the abyss. |
| Rookie Mistake | Attempt to use Ferro Flask with none remaining. |

Most of these are controlled setup challenges rather than cumulative progression. Use safe encounters to arrange enemy positioning, health and equipment, and make a separate attempt for risky conditions such as the abyss, self-ignition or having no Ferro Flasks.

How to plan a Valor Mortis platinum
1. Maintain four checklists
- Story: mark the 11 named encounters as they unlock, including the Shrike rendezvous and The Entity.
- Collection: record every Amber, Eternal Guardist and weapon or Transmutation unlock.
- Upgrades: reserve materials for one maxed firearm, one maxed melee weapon and one maxed Transmutation.
- Quests: track Laudanum, Seamus Diggory, Deserter, Adjutant and Monster Hunt separately from the main route.
2. Attempt special challenges when conditions are favorable
Pair equipment-specific goals with suitable enemy groups: the Blunderbuss for Scattershot, the pistol for Windhover and God’s Trigger, the Claymore for Hoodsnatcher, the flamethrower for Flame Feast, and Stasis for Statue of Insanity. Keep an eye out for a Risen Grenadier for Single Stroke and a ledge for Abyssal Eviction.

Jack-knife requires damage with every melee weapon, firearm and Transmutation without dying. Plan a single uninterrupted run through your available equipment rather than assuming progress will carry across deaths. Likewise, Symphony of Steel is a 10-parry streak with no damage taken, not a lifetime total.

Steam lists Valor Mortis as a single-player game with Steam Achievements and gives October 13, 2026 as the release date. The official Steam announcement feed describes the story as approximately 20 hours, but the trophy list adds exploration, upgrades, quests and setup-heavy combat tasks beyond a straightforward story run. Steam announcements is the source for that estimate.
On PS5, the US store lists the $39.99 base game and $59.99 Deluxe Edition. Trophy requirements are gameplay objectives; edition pricing does not change the 39-entry checklist reported for the game.
