Which 19 main POIs appeared in the Verdansk reveal?
Insider Gaming’s March 2025 coverage listed these familiar main locations on the revealed Tac Map graphic:

The report described the overall map graphic as almost unchanged from the original and noted an updated railway that might indicate a returning train. Those are readings of the reveal image, rather than independently verified details about how every feature works in gameplay. Is there water on the 2025 Verdansk map?
The reveal coverage interpreted parts of the graphic as showing rivers and water extending over land. The image alone does not establish that all the apparent waterways are navigable or have the same gameplay properties. Activision’s later location descriptions confirm accessible water in specific areas:

These location-specific details come from Activision’s Verdansk tour; they confirm water access at those named locations, not every water feature suggested by the reveal graphic.
Why do sources give different Verdansk POI counts?
The 19 figure refers to the main locations discussed in the 2025 reveal and return coverage; it does not mean that the current map contains only 19 points of interest. Activision’s return announcement also referred to 19 main POIs. Its current interactive Tac Atlas lists 296 total POIs, including 21 major POIs. Those figures describe different scopes, and the Atlas reflects a later resource update.

For the present-day map, use Activision’s Verdansk Tac Atlas as the live map reference rather than treating the reveal’s main-location count as a complete inventory.

Activision announced that Verdansk would return to Warzone with Season 03 on April 3, 2025. The publisher described the map as rebuilt from the ground up and said it was around 95% a rebuilt version of Verdansk in 2020, with light adjustments and quality-of-life improvements to the remaining landscape. That percentage is Activision’s characterization, not an independently measured comparison.
