Vgames announced on December 18, 2024, that it raised $142 million for its third fund, Vgames Fund III. The amount is also listed in the IVC-GNY-KPMG Investors Report 2024. The fund is intended to back gaming and consumer businesses around the world, from early-stage ventures through growth.
What is Vgames Fund III?
Fund III is Vgames’ third investment fund. The firm launched in March 2020 and describes itself as a venture fund for game and consumer entrepreneurs, with support spanning a company’s lifecycle. The $142 million figure is the announced fund size; it does not establish how much had been invested or remained available at any particular time.
GamesBeat and PocketGamer.biz reported in December 2024 that Vgames had invested in 38 companies globally since its launch. That is a reported portfolio count at the time of the announcement, not an audited measure of returns or a current 2026 portfolio total.
What kinds of companies does Vgames say it will back?
Vgames’ stated mandate covers gaming and consumer businesses, with investment support from inception through growth. The firm also describes offering non-dilutive financing solutions, alongside investment capital. Its announcement frames the fund as global, but does not disclose a precise allocation by region, company stage, or financing type.

In contemporaneous comments reported by PocketGamer.biz, partner Daniel Mironov said Vgames evaluates teams and content, considering genre, relevant metrics, and growth opportunity in light of a company’s stage. He described the firm’s platform perspective as “content-first”: a game’s potential is not confined to mobile, PC, or console if players enjoy it and its business model is strong. These are the firm’s stated selection principles, not independent evidence that its investments will outperform.
Who leads Vgames, and what is its portfolio context?
Contemporaneous coverage identifies Eitan Reisel as Vgames’ founder and managing partner and Daniel Mironov as a partner. Coverage named InnPlay Labs, SuperPlay, 1047 Games, and Candivore among the firm’s notable investments. Those companies are examples, not a complete portfolio list.

Calcalist CTech described Vgames’ previous financing activity as involving both equity and debt. That historical context should not be confused with Fund III’s $142 million size: the announcement does not specify how much of the fund is intended for each financing form.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What does the $142 million announcement establish—and what remains undisclosed?
The announcement establishes the fund’s stated size and broad investment scope. IVC-GNY-KPMG’s 2024 report independently lists vgames Fund III at $142 million. Neither the amount raised nor the reported number of portfolio companies says anything by itself about investment performance.

- The reviewed announcements and report do not identify Fund III’s limited partners or detailed legal terms.
- They do not state the fund’s investment pace, remaining capital, or precise allocation by geography, stage, or financing type.
- No audited Fund III returns or third-party performance statistics are provided in the cited materials.
Accordingly, $142 million should be read as the announced fund size, not as proof that the entire amount was immediately deployable or that the fund had achieved a particular return.
