What is Extreme Resurgence?
Extreme Resurgence is a weekend limited-time mode (LTM) for Warzone’s Resurgence playlist. Call of Duty announced it for Haven’s Hollow, with players entering in Quads. The Season 02 announcement placed the mode in the mid-season window; the Season 02 Reloaded announcement also described it as a weekend LTM.

How is it different from standard Resurgence?
The defining difference is the number of players and squads in the match, not a different map or squad size in the announced setup.

The figures for standard Resurgence and Extreme Resurgence come from Call of Duty’s Season 02 announcement. Its Season 02 Reloaded announcement characterizes Extreme Resurgence as nearly double the normal Resurgence population.
Do the rules or activities change?
Call of Duty says regular Resurgence elements remain: players find regular loot, contend with Gas Circle activity, and can take on Contracts and Public Events. The announced distinction is the much larger match, which means more players and opposing squads in the same Haven’s Hollow match. The announcements do not describe special loot, unique Contracts, or a different circle schedule.
