Was Dragon Age: Dreadwolf released by March 2025?
Yes. BioWare announced an October 31, 2024 worldwide release date for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and EA confirmed it was available that day. The release was earlier than March 2025.
The date was announced by BioWare on August 15, 2024. EA’s October 31 launch announcement confirms the game was available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, the EA app, and the Epic Games Store.
Why was Dragon Age: Dreadwolf renamed?
On June 6, 2024, BioWare announced that the game’s title had changed to Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The studio said the new name better reflected the player character and companions at the heart of the experience. BioWare also said the Dread Wolf remained important to the story, so the change did not mean the character or storyline had been dropped.
