Raw Fury, publisher of Blue Prince, said on December 21, 2025, that no AI was used in the game. That is the publisher’s public position, not an independent audit of the development process. The statement followed reporting about an Escapist article that alleged generative AI use; subsequent coverage said the article was edited and the outlet apologized.
What did Raw Fury say about AI in Blue Prince?
In a post on its official Bluesky account, Raw Fury wrote: “There is no AI used in Blue Prince.” The publisher said the game was “built and crafted with full human instinct” by Tonda Ros and his team at Dogubomb, and described it as the result of eight years of development “fuelled by imagination and creativity.” Those are Raw Fury’s claims; the post does not identify an individual speaker or provide development records for independent review. How did the allegation and correction unfold?
Coverage by Insider Gaming and PC Gamer reported that Raw Fury’s denial came after an Escapist article suggested generative AI had been used in the game. Both outlets also reported that The Escapist edited the article and apologized.
That sequence should be understood as reported by those outlets: the original Escapist page is not independently available here for inspection. A Reddit community post reproduces text attributed to the apology, but it is user-posted material rather than the outlet’s original publication. See the community post quoting the correction.

What can be verified—and what cannot?
The clearest primary evidence is Raw Fury’s dated public denial. It establishes what the publisher said, but does not independently verify every tool, asset, or workflow used during production. The eight-year development duration is likewise Raw Fury’s characterization, not an independently audited timeline.
Steam identifies Dogubomb as the developer, Raw Fury as publisher, and April 10, 2025, as the release date. Its description presents Blue Prince as a strategy puzzle adventure set in Mt. The accurate answer is that Raw Fury publicly denied AI use in Blue Prince, while coverage reported that the article prompting the response was edited and followed by an apology. The available evidence supports attributing the denial to the publisher; it does not establish an independent technical finding about the game’s production.
