A February 2025 report attributed the figure to another outlet, but the available reporting does not independently establish when the PC version was cracked—or confirm that it happened exactly two minutes after release.
What is actually known about the two-minute claim?
The claim appeared in a February 2, 2025 report by iQOO Community, which attributed the two-minute timing to TheGamer. The original TheGamer article was not available for independent review in the sources behind that report, and no official statement confirming the timing was identified. A February 1 Inshorts brief also described a crack within minutes, citing Sports Info; it is additional secondary reporting, not independent verification.
That makes “cracked in two minutes” an allegation repeated by secondary sources, rather than an established fact. The reporting also does not independently pin down whether the claimed interval was measured from the game’s release time, the moment files became accessible, or another point.
When did the PC version release?
SteamDB’s listing gives January 30, 2025, as the Windows PC release date. This establishes the listed release date, but it does not verify the crack claim or its precise timing.

What do the reported player figures mean?
The iQOO Community report relayed two figures from different measures. They should not be treated as equivalent:
| Reported figure | What it describes | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Nearly 300,000 peers | A number attributed to one tracker and an IconEra thread by the iQOO Community report. | It is not a verified count of unique downloads, people, purchasers, completed downloads, or lost sales. |
| 24,205 players | A Steam all-time concurrent-player peak cited secondhand by the iQOO Community report via SteamDB. | It is not directly comparable to tracker peers and does not measure unauthorized copies or lost sales. |
The tracker page and its underlying methodology were not independently verified in the cited reporting. Neither figure can establish how many people obtained an unauthorized copy or whether piracy affected sales.
