No separate extension is documented in the official announcements: Concord’s open beta was scheduled for July 18–21, 2024, in the English announcement. The apparent extra day comes from the official Japanese version, which displayed the corresponding window as July 19–22 in Japan local dates.
Was Concord’s beta extended by a day?
The official English schedule did not add a day to the beta. Firewalk Studios announced the open beta for Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21, 2024. Its Japanese translation showed July 19 through July 22, reflecting the local calendar dates rather than a separately announced extension. The different date labels describe the same beta window.

The June 27 announcement listed the earlier beta early-access period as July 12–14, followed by the open beta on July 18–21. On July 11, Firewalk specified a 10 a.m. PDT start on July 18 for the open beta. PlayStation Blog’s June 27 schedule and July 11’s beta details give the English-language dates.
What was available during the beta?
The beta was available on PS5 and PC, with optional cross-play between the platforms. PlayStation Plus members could join the early-access period on PS5; the open beta was available to all players. The open beta included all 16 launch Freegunners, and added the Bone Mines map and Area Control mode.

On PC, players could use keyboard and mouse or a DualSense controller. These were beta-era features, not options for playing Concord now.
Can you play Concord now?
No. Firewalk announced on September 3, 2024, that the game would go offline beginning September 6, and that sales would cease immediately. Game Director Ryan Ellis said the studio would “explore options, including those that will better reach our players.” The announcement also offered full refunds to PS5 and PC purchasers. Buyers of physical copies from other retailers were directed to those retailers’ refund processes.

Firewalk’s shutdown announcement explains the decision and refunds. The PlayStation Support page for Concord states that sales have ceased and provides refund information for PlayStation Store and Direct, Steam, Epic, and other retailers.
