A Magic: The Gathering God Pack is an unusually rare booster configuration. Wizards of the Coast has announced a new version for 2027 in which every nonbasic card is rare or mythic rare. The feature is planned for both Booster Packs and Collector Boosters, with different contents and stated frequencies; these are future plans, not odds for products currently on sale.
What makes a booster a God Pack?
In Wizards of the Coast’s planned 2027 format, a God Pack is a randomly inserted booster in which every nonbasic card is rare or mythic rare. It is not a separate product to buy. Wizards announced the feature on October 5, 2026, and says it will begin with Nauctis: The Sunken Realm, identified as the first Magic set of 2027. What is in each announced God Pack?
Wizards describes two configurations. The celebration card is listed separately from the rare-or-mythic cards; the Collector Booster also has a foil land, which is not included in that rarity count.

What do the stated odds mean?
The 1-in-1,000 and 1-in-300 figures describe how often Wizards says each configuration will appear among its corresponding booster type. They are not probabilities for drawing a particular rare, mythic rare, foil, or Headliner. In the Collector Booster configuration, the five foil Booster Fun slots may include Headliner cards; Wizards says multiple Headliners in one pack are very improbable, but does not provide a separate numerical probability for them. How is this different from the older Theros-block God Pack?
“God Pack” has also been used for a historical Journey into Nyx booster said to contain all 15 Gods from the Theros block. A Magic Rules Tips article from around 2014 describes the pack and attributes confirmation of its existence to Wizards. That special set of cards is distinct from the newly announced rarity-based format: the shared nickname does not mean the contents are the same. (Magic Rules Tips)

Can you buy a God Pack separately?
No. Wizards says God Packs will be random inserts in ordinary Booster Packs and Collector Boosters, not products sold separately. The announcement applies to the future rollout beginning in 2027; it does not establish that a pack currently available for purchase contains one. (Wizards Play Network)
