Radiation immunity in ARK: Survival Evolved (ASE) and ARK: Survival Ascended (ASA) depends on the exact creature and game version. The Aberration overview lists separate immune-creature rosters for each game; being Aberrant does not by itself make a creature immune. Check the appropriate list below before taking a tame into a radiation zone.
Creatures immune to radiation in ASE
The ARK Official Community Wiki’s Aberration overview lists these native creatures as radiation-immune in ASE:

The overview lists Basilisk, Ravager, Reaper Embryo, and Roll Rat as native creatures that are not immune in ASE. The Aberration overview is a community-maintained reference, and its list covers native creatures rather than every imported or modded creature.

In the overview, Aberrant Concavenator, Burrowbuck, Elderclaw, Pyromane, Ravager, Reaper Embryo, and Roll Rat are listed as not immune in ASA. Aberrant Concavenator was added to Aberration in ASA version 93.0, dated August 27, 2026. The overview currently describes its radiation damage behavior as likely a bug; the available sources do not establish whether that behavior was intended or whether a later patch changed it. Check the creature’s status against your installed build. The version 93.0 patch archive records the addition.
Why the Aberrant label is not enough
Aberrant creatures are variants, not a blanket immunity class. For example, the Aberrant Otter is explicitly marked as not immune. Glow or an Aberrant name is not a reliable substitute for checking the exact creature entry. The Aberrant-creature overview describes the group, while the radiation-immunity category includes special and variant entries beyond the native lists above.

For an imported, event, or unusual variant, verify the exact entry and game version rather than assuming it shares the status of a similarly named native creature. Radiation in Aberration is concentrated in parts of the Element region and damages vulnerable survivors and tames over time.

Mushroom Brew temporarily protects a tame from radiation for 120 seconds. A tame cannot receive another brew until the current effect expires, so time each refresh if it will remain exposed. The item page lists these ingredients and says the brew can be made in a Cooking Pot or Industrial Cooker:
