Fortnite’s teaser was reported as a possible Honkai: Star Rail crossover, but the characters fans guessed at were not confirmed. Insider Gaming reported on January 30, 2026, that the Epic Games Store posted an image on X showing two swords with the caption, “Who’s trailblazing their way to Fortnite.”
What did Fortnite tease?
According to Insider Gaming’s January 30, 2026 report by Sam Sepiol, the Epic Games Store shared an image on X featuring two swords and the words, “Who’s trailblazing their way to Fortnite.” The post hinted at a collaboration without naming a game or character in the reported caption.
Why do fans suspect Honkai: Star Rail?
The phrase “trailblazing” led fans to suspect Honkai: Star Rail. The same report says fans speculated that the swords could point to Blade and Kafka, but it does not report that developers confirmed either character. Those names should be treated as fan guesses, not an announced Fortnite lineup.
Is the collaboration confirmed or released?
The report establishes what the teaser showed and what fans inferred at the time; it does not establish whether Epic later confirmed or released a Honkai: Star Rail collaboration. The teaser alone is not confirmation of the crossover or of any specific character’s arrival.
