Epic Games’ public materials identify Kids Web Services Ltd (KWS) as a current subsidiary. Epic’s July 2025 privacy policy also explicitly called Psyonix LLC, Mediatonic Limited and Aquiris Game Studio LLC subsidiaries. These are confirmed examples, not a complete list: Epic’s public materials do not provide an exhaustive register of every company it owns. Its current privacy policy, updated April 22, 2026, also names Harmonix Music Systems, Inc. and Life on Air Inc. as service entities, but that listing alone does not establish that they are subsidiaries.
Epic Games subsidiaries explicitly identified in public materials
The table separates companies Epic has explicitly called subsidiaries from entities that appear in its privacy policy only as service providers or licensing entities. Evidence dates matter: Epic’s current policy is dated April 22, 2026, while its explicit subsidiary descriptions of Psyonix, Mediatonic and Aquiris appear in its July 2025 policy.
| Company | Relationship supported by the cited material | Associated game or service | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kids Web Services Ltd (KWS) | Current subsidiary; Epic said it was wholly owned in a January 2024 policy update. | Kids Web Services, including age-verification services | Epic privacy policy updated April 22, 2026, and January 2024 update |
| Psyonix LLC | Explicitly called a subsidiary in Epic’s July 2025 privacy policy. | Rocket League | Epic privacy policy, July 2025; Psyonix says it joined the Epic Games family in June 2019. |
| Mediatonic Limited | Explicitly called a subsidiary in Epic’s July 2025 privacy policy. | Fall Guys | Epic privacy policy, July 2025; Mediatonic announced it had joined Epic in March 2021. |
| Aquiris Game Studio LLC | Explicitly called a subsidiary in Epic’s July 2025 privacy policy. | Horizon Chase 2 | Epic privacy policy, July 2025; Epic’s current policy identifies Aquiris as the game’s service entity. |
Kids Web Services Ltd
Epic’s current privacy policy describes Kids Web Services as a service offered by its subsidiary, Kids Web Services Ltd. Epic’s January 2024 update said the company was wholly owned. KWS is therefore the clearest current example in the available public material.
Psyonix, Mediatonic and Aquiris
Epic’s July 2025 privacy policy explicitly labels these three companies subsidiaries. Their public descriptions connect them with Rocket League, Fall Guys and Horizon Chase 2, respectively. The policy is dated evidence of how Epic described the relationships; it should not be read as a complete, continuously updated corporate register.

Companies named as service entities, not confirmed subsidiaries
Epic’s privacy policy lists Harmonix Music Systems, Inc. as the service entity for Rock Band and Life on Air Inc. as the service entity for Postparty. A service-entity listing identifies a company’s role in providing or licensing a service; by itself, it does not establish ownership. The cited listing does not explicitly confirm either company as an Epic subsidiary.
Former or partly divested holdings
Bandcamp
Epic announced in September 2023 that Bandcamp was joining Songtradr. It should not be described as a current Epic-owned company on the basis of those announcements.

SuperAwesome
In September 2023, Epic said most of SuperAwesome would be spun off while Kids Web Services would remain with Epic. SuperAwesome’s leadership confirmed in January 2024 that its management team had completed the acquisition of most of the business from Epic; Epic remained an investor in the newly independent company. Epic’s January 2024 update said KWS was wholly owned and that SuperAwesome was no longer part of Epic. The independent SuperAwesome business and KWS therefore have different ownership statuses.
Products and brands are not automatically separate companies
Epic’s announcements group games, tools, services and initiatives under its business, including Fortnite, Rocket League, Fall Guys, Unreal Engine, Epic Games Store, Epic Games Publishing, Epic Online Services, Kids Web Services, MetaHuman, Twinmotion, Quixel Megascans, Capturing Reality, ArtStation, Sketchfab and Fab. That kind of product or business-line list is not a list of separately incorporated companies. For example, Rocket League is a game associated with Psyonix; the game’s inclusion does not make it a separate subsidiary.

Is this a complete list of Epic Games’ companies?
No. Epic’s public privacy policies and company announcements establish the specific relationships above, but the materials reviewed do not provide a comprehensive legal-company register or a useful current count of all companies Epic owns. The safest answer is a dated list of confirmed examples, with service-entity listings and former holdings kept separate.
