How to choose for your run
The Goliath is a long event, so a car that stays stable and lets you drive cleanly may be a better choice for you than one with greater theoretical speed. Consider:
- Cornering grip and stability: Can you hold your line through fast corners without repeated corrections?
- Braking confidence: Can you brake consistently without sliding or overshooting?
- Acceleration and top speed: Does the car’s speed advantage help your run without making it harder to control?
- Your driving skill: If you lose time correcting slides or braking mistakes, a more stable car can be the more useful choice.

Check the game, class, and tune context
“Goliath” alone does not identify every relevant condition: the event is discussed across multiple Forza games. The recommendation above assumes FH5. A separate official Forza community tuning discussion from December 2017 concerns Forza Horizon 3, where a participant advised, “Goliath has lots of high speed corners… If you want stability, you’re gonna want more wing in the rear.” That is historical, game-specific community advice—not a universal setup instruction for FH5.
