Geo Sigils are a Liyue exploration reward, but the available official documentation here does not verify where they can currently be spent, what is for sale, or the costs and purchase limits. Check the exchange options in your current game before deciding what to buy; don’t rely on an unverified shop location or historical price.
What Geo Sigils are for
HoYoverse describes Geo Sigils as a “Liyue Exploration Reward.” The company’s Version 1.2 update notes say the in-game source description was corrected from “Liyue Expedition Reward” to “Liyue Exploration Reward.” That establishes their source category, but it does not document their current spending options.
How to decide what to do with them
-
Check the current game for an exchange that explicitly accepts Geo Sigils.
-
Before spending, inspect the displayed reward, cost, and any purchase limit. The official details available here do not establish those values or whether purchases are repeatable.

If you cannot confirm an exchange or its terms in-game, hold onto the Sigils until you can. This avoids acting on shop details that may be outdated or unsupported.
Don’t confuse Geo Sigils with other Liyue rewards
HoYoverse’s Version 1.1 documentation describes several Liyue exploration-related systems, including a Geoculus Resonance Stone blueprint at Liyue Reputation Level 2 and a Geo Treasure Compass restricted to Liyue. That documentation does not say these rewards are bought with Geo Sigils.

Likewise, later update notes refer to City States Sigils as offering items. That is a separate named system and does not establish what Geo Sigils buy. Match the currency named in the live exchange rather than assuming every sigil or offering system works alike.
