What Khaenri’ah refers to
Khaenri’ah is a fictional nation in Genshin Impact. The community-maintained Genshin Impact Wiki lists the name in several language versions, including English Khaenri’ah, Chinese 坎瑞亚, Japanese カーンルイア, and Korean 켄리아. Its language table does not list an Arabic rendering. That describes the coverage of this reference; it does not prove that no fan or unofficial Arabic rendering exists.
The wiki also discusses a possible connection between the game term Khemia and the history of the words “alchemy” and “chemistry.” That is a separate word-history discussion and does not establish that Khaenri’ah itself comes from Arabic.
Where the “betrayer of the winds” reading comes from
The fan interpretation reads the name by sound as something like خاين الرياح, or “betrayer of the winds.” Its component words have relevant Arabic meanings: the Cairo Arabic Language Academy’s Al-Wasīt entry gives خانَ فلانًا as “betrayed him,” and its entry for الرِّيح defines it as moving air and lists رياح as its plural.

- Genshin Impact "Ode to a Sweet Afternoon" Furina Chibi Figure
The forms matter: الرِّيح means “wind” in the singular, while رياح means “winds.” The proposed phrase uses the plural. The dictionary entry for خانَ also includes الخان as a separate homograph meaning an inn, shop, or honorific; that is not the verb used in the fan reading.
Why it is not a confirmed translation
Recognizable Arabic words make the interpretation possible as sound-based wordplay, but they do not show how the fictional name was coined. The game reference does not confirm an Arabic origin, and the sources reviewed provide no direct creator statement or official Arabic localization confirming “betrayer of the winds.” The evidence supports the meanings of the component words, not the claim that they are the intended meaning of Khaenri’ah.

What Dahri does—and does not—tell us
The Genshin Impact Wiki reports Dahri as an archaic in-game name for Khaenri’ah and discusses an Arabic-Persian word connection for “dahri.” That is a separate lore point about an alternate name; it does not establish the etymology of the English name Khaenri’ah.
