In vanilla Minecraft, breaking a normal spawner with a Silk Touch tool does not make it drop as an item. The spawner breaks and yields experience orbs instead. Silk Touch cannot let you collect or move it in Survival.
What happens to a normal spawner?
A normal spawner breaks when mined, but it does not drop as a block—even if the tool has Silk Touch. Mojang explains that players cannot create or obtain spawners themselves, “not even with a Silk Touch pick.” Breaking one with a pickaxe yields experience orbs. Mojang’s Block of the Week: Spawner
What about a Trial Spawner?
A Trial Spawner is a different block from a normal spawner. The official Java and Bedrock 1.21 changelogs both state that Trial Spawners do not drop when broken with Silk Touch and cannot be obtained in Survival. Java Edition 1.21 changelog · Bedrock 1.21 changelog
Can an add-on change the result?
Yes. Modified gameplay may change spawner drops. For example, a listed Bedrock add-on describes configurable spawner-drop behavior and requires its packs and experiments to be enabled. That is add-on behavior, not the vanilla rule. Silk Touch Spawners! on CurseForge
