What game is Elsewhere making?
The announcement does not name a game. Activision’s description establishes only that Elsewhere is working on a new narrative-based AAA franchise. It does not confirm an RPG, shooter, open-world game, setting, story premise, or particular gameplay system.
It also does not announce a Call of Duty installment. The available description is of an all-new franchise, so claims that Elsewhere’s project is Call of Duty—or that it belongs to another specific existing series—would go beyond what Activision announced.

Where is the studio, and who is on the team?
Activision says Elsewhere is headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, with additional resources in the United States. The City of Warsaw’s 2025–2026 game-industry report also lists Elsewhere as a Warsaw-headquartered Activision studio and describes its project in similarly broad terms; it does not add a game title, platform, or release window. Activision presented the studio as a home for bold, diverse ideas and creative collaboration, and named team members’ past credits on The Last of Us, Uncharted, The Witcher, Cyberpunk, Destiny, Tom Clancy’s The Division, and Far Cry. Those credits provide context about the team, but they are not evidence that the new project will share any of those games’ genres, mechanics, or worlds.

When will Elsewhere reveal or release its game?
Activision’s announcement gave no reveal date or release window. PC Gamer’s coverage on May 16, 2024, likewise reported that there was no word then on when the debut project would be revealed.
