What is FX Fighter Kurumi-chan about?
The series follows university student Kurumi Fukuga, who turns to FX trading to recover the 20 million yen her late mother lost. That amount is part of the fictional premise, not a real-world statistic. The anime adapts a manga written by Demunyan and illustrated by Daisuki Tansan, published under KADOKAWA’s MF Comics Flapper Series imprint. The official anime site describes the story, while KADOKAWA’s store listing identifies the source manga.
What does the forex warning say?
Dexerto reproduced the opening warning in English and attributed it to the anime’s creators. The wording may be a translation; the official pages reviewed do not independently publish this English version. It reads:
“This is a work of fiction. Forex (foreign exchange margin trading) is a high-risk venture, and it’s possible for losses to exceed margin payments. There is a risk that excessive trading can interfere with one’s daily life, so please think it over carefully and proceed with caution.

Why is the anime being called “viral”?
The phrase “goes viral” comes from the framing of the headline that prompted coverage. The sources reviewed do not provide independent view, share, or reach figures, so there is no verified audience metric here establishing how widely the clip or episode spread.

The official site says the Japanese TV broadcast began Thursday, October 1, 2026, and lists AT-X, TOKYO MX, BS11, and Kansai TV schedules. It names d Anime Store, ABEMA, U-NEXT, and Anime Hodai as streaming services from October 1, with additional services listed from October 6; the site cautions that schedules may change. Crunchyroll’s Fall 2026 lineup lists an October 1 subtitle airtime and licensed territories. On October 2, the service reported that episode 1 was available and that the English dub would release weekly alongside the Japanese version. Availability varies by region, so confirm access in your location through the service itself.
