Pokémon Rodeo is a codename reported in October 2024 leak coverage, not an officially announced game. Reports described an alleged online co-op Pokémon battling concept centered on riding Pokémon, but they do not establish that the project is an MMO, is still in development, or will be released.
What is Pokémon Rodeo?
On October 21, 2024, coverage of material attributed to the Game Freak data leak described a project under the codename Rodeo. The reported concept was an online co-op Pokémon battling game in which players ride Pokémon and battle other Pokémon while mounted. Those are leak-based details, not features confirmed by Nintendo, Game Freak, or an official game announcement. Source
Rodeo is a reported codename; the sources do not establish it as the final title of a game. Nor do they establish that the project is available to buy or play.
Is Pokémon Rodeo an MMO?
The available reporting describes Rodeo as an online co-op concept. It does not verify that the game would be a massively multiplayer online game, so calling it an MMO goes beyond what the reports establish. Source Source

What platforms were reported?
Leak coverage and an archived thread attributed plans for Nintendo Switch and mobile support to the leak. These were reported plans in 2024—not confirmed platform commitments, a release announcement, or evidence that versions are now in development. Source Source
Is Rodeo the same project as Synapse?
That connection is unresolved. Leak reporting relayed speculation that Rodeo may have been cancelled and that a related idea may have continued under the Synapse codename. It also left open the possibility that the names referred to separate projects or that the leak had combined details. No official confirmation in the available sources settles the question.
