Grasshopper announced a 2026 release window in June 2025. Xbox Wire, in an interview published February 9, 2026, gives February 11, 2026 as the Xbox Series X|S launch date. Its page showed an Xbox store listing at $49.99 when reviewed; that is a storefront price shown on that page, not a universal price or a guarantee of today’s price. The announcement initially listed format and MSRP as to be determined, and the cited sources do not establish a PS5 physical edition or current retailer inventory.
