After the Elite Four, the fastest commonly documented leveling method in Pokémon Omega Ruby is to battle high-level Blissey teams in other players’ Super-Secret Bases. For story progress before those battles unlock, use the strongest trainer battles available and turn on EXP Share; the sources do not establish one universally fastest early-game grinding spot.
Fastest postgame method: battle Blissey in Super-Secret Bases
Secret Base trainer battles are available after you beat the Elite Four, according to the Smogon Secret Base guide. Look for bases whose owners use Blissey: Chansey and Blissey tie for the highest base experience by species, making them unusually rewarding opponents. That describes the species’ base experience, not a fixed amount of experience per battle.
Some community bases field three Blissey, which can make a single battle especially useful. The team is associated with the base owner, however; grunts do not necessarily use it. The community guide to Blissey bases also notes that Level Release is needed to allow level-100 teams, and that you must obtain the decoration for your own base.
Set up the battle for your goal
- To focus experience on one Pokémon: make it the primary battler and give it the Lucky Egg. The Smogon guide describes the Lucky Egg as doubling the experience its holder gains from defeated opponents; do not count on that holder-specific boost applying to the rest of the party.
- To train several party members: enable EXP Share so experience is distributed among party members. The game’s official Nintendo manual documents the feature.
- To get the strongest base team: choose a base whose owner’s team includes Blissey, and use a battle format that lets your team face multiple Blissey together where supported.
Find enough bases to keep training
A base owner can generally be challenged once per day, so adding or scanning for multiple useful bases gives you more daily battles. The Smogon guide says record mixing can refresh the relevant base, but that requires another player; it is not a universal solo reset.

If you have not beaten the Elite Four
Secret Base trainer battles are not an early-game option. Until they unlock, battle the strongest trainers available to you and use EXP Share if you want experience to reach multiple party members. The cited guides do not identify a single fastest pre-postgame location, so the practical choice is to use available trainer rematches or other trainer battles as you progress rather than assume one spot is optimal.

Choose the approach that fits your situation
| Situation | What to do | Important limit |
|---|---|---|
| Postgame, focused on one Pokémon | Battle a Blissey base; have the trainee lead and hold Lucky Egg. | The Lucky Egg boost is for its holder; no exact experience total or time-to-level is established. |
| Postgame, training a party | Battle a Blissey base with EXP Share enabled. | Experience is spread among party members rather than focused only on one. |
| Base has a level-100 team | Use Level Release if you have obtained the decoration. | Level Release is required for level-100 teams; not every base has one. |
| Before the Elite Four | Use strong available trainer battles and EXP Share. | No exact fastest early-game location is established by the cited guides. |
