The next announced step in the Marvel Rivals roadmap is Season 10.5, scheduled to begin October 9, 2026 at 09:00 UTC. Its headline Path to Doomsday content is the Avengers: Infinity War mode, which is scheduled to run until December 11, 2026 at 09:00 UTC. As of October 8, 2026, none of this is live yet. The official patch notes, dated October 6, 2026, supply the dates and mode mechanics. The broader 2026 plan behind them was announced by NetEase in March and is less specific.
Season 10.5: the next scheduled update
Season 10.5 is the next update on the published calendar. The official patch notes give a start of October 9, 2026 at 09:00 UTC and anticipate roughly two hours of maintenance around that time. Season features do not all share one window, so check the individual event or mode dates before planning around any single one.
Avengers: Infinity War mode
This is the Path to Doomsday mode for Season 10.5. Its rules, as described in the patch notes:
- Players: 12 players form six two-player squads.
- Objective: squads compete for control of the Infinity Stones.
- Round format: two squads face one another in each round.
- Win condition: the first squad to collect all six stones wins.
- Scheduled period: October 9, 2026 at 09:00 UTC through December 11, 2026 at 09:00 UTC.

How Season 10.5 fits Path to Doomsday
Marvel Rivals’ developer overview, Dev Vision Vol. 22 (published October 7, 2026), describes Season 10.5 as part of a continuing Path to Doomsday and says new modes and changes are coming. The developer’s wording is: “Brand new modes are heading your way for Season 10.5 of Marvel Rivals as the Path to Doomsday continues.” The patch notes add that the season introduces “all-new Marvel Cinematic Universe inspired game modes.” The developer overview gives the direction. The patch notes give the mode names, rules, and dates.
The 2026 annual plan
NetEase Interactive Entertainment’s March 4, 2026 announcement called 2026 an “Avengers year.” It described events and modes linked to Marvel films. One of those modes was a limited-time 1-vs-6 asymmetric mode in which one player takes the role of Loki against six heroes. The announcement also set out milestones for April, June, August, and October, each based on an Avengers film, plus a December mode tied to Avengers: Doomsday.

The March announcement also gave a publisher-reported figure of more than 40 million players worldwide. It was stated in that announcement, and it is not an independently audited count.

What has already shipped
The Avengers: Age of Ultron mode is the one plan item the official sources confirm as delivered. It went live July 30, 2026 and ran until August 27, 2026. Treat it as a completed event, not an upcoming one.
What is still unconfirmed
- December mode: the Avengers: Doomsday-linked mode has been announced, but its name, rules, and dates are not yet in the official sources.
- April and June milestones: the March plan names them, but the official sources available for this update do not describe what shipped.
- Season 10.5 feature windows: the Infinity Finale event, the Times Square screening, the Alchemax Headquarters map, and the Twitch Drops each have their own schedule. Check the patch notes for each one.
How to check the roadmap yourself
- Start with the most recent official patch notes. They carry exact dates and mechanics, which a planning article or annual plan does not.
- Check the official Marvel Rivals news index for developer overviews such as Dev Vision Vol. 22, which give direction but not the full schedule.
- Treat any milestone from the March plan as planned until a patch note confirms its content and dates.
- When a patch note gives a start time, convert it from UTC to your local time zone before planning around it.
Franchise merchandise named in the announcement
The March 4 announcement named Hot Toys’ Marvel Rivals Cosbi Collection among franchise merchandise shown at its event. It also said collectibles, apparel, toys, comics, games, digital content, and animation were expected over the following months. This is an optional product note. Following the roadmap does not require buying anything. Check the current availability and price of the collection on the retailer’s listing before you act on it, because this article did not verify them.
