Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 had 22 possible Earth Sprite locations, but only five Earth Sprites spawned per match, according to Game8’s location guide. Look for a lantern at each listed spot; an empty location does not mean you have the wrong map. These are historical locations for that season, not confirmed live-game directions for October 2026.
All 22 possible Earth Sprite locations
The locations below are reported spawn points, not guaranteed appearances in one match. Use nearby POIs and landmarks to find each area, and move on to another listed point if its lantern is absent.

How to search for an Earth Sprite
Start with a convenient cluster
Choose a few listed locations near your landing area or planned rotation rather than crossing the map for a single possible spawn. The sources do not establish one universally fastest route or guarantee that any particular point will be active.

Look for the lantern, then keep moving
Game8 identifies a lantern as the visible clue at a listed spawn point. Since only five sprites are reported per match, an empty point is a reason to check another location, not evidence that every location is inactive.
Use a nearby Sprite Shrine as a discovery aid
Polygon’s Chapter 6, Season 1 guide says interacting with a Sprite Shrine reveals nearby sprites. Use one if it is nearby; the source does not suggest that a shrine replaces checking the possible spawn points.

What Earth Sprites do
In Chapter 6, Season 1, Earth Sprites were brown and consumed an item offered by a player in exchange for a reward. Game8 says a Legendary weapon can be among the rewards; it does not establish a guaranteed reward or a specific item-for-item exchange. Polygon describes the same basic trade.
For recognition, Polygon describes white Air Sprites as creating an updraft when thrown, while blue Water Sprites create a healing fountain. Those are different effects from the Earth Sprite’s item trade.

Are these locations still available?
This is a season-specific guide. The locations and spawn rules are reported for Chapter 6, Season 1 in sources updated in December 2024 and January 2025; they do not confirm that season’s island or Earth Sprite pool is playable in October 2026. Epic Games Player Support’s general Sprites article confirms that Sprites were added in the v41.00 update on a new island, but does not verify that Chapter 6, Season 1’s locations remain available. Epic also says Sprites are not available in competitive modes.
