Endgame continues that story: JSOC explores Avalon, including the Guild’s remaining command centers and areas affected by a mysterious toxin. The campaign can be played solo or with up to four players, according to Activision’s reveal.
What you do in an Endgame run
Endgame is an objective-driven PvE activity set in Avalon. Activision describes a cooperative experience in which players can move through escalating zones, complete assignments and work with other squads against tougher threats. Insider Gaming characterizes it as PvE without player-versus-player combat.

- Decide when to extract. Getting out preserves the progress earned during the run; being killed in action risks losing those run gains.
Activision describes Endgame as designed for 1–32 players, organized into squads of up to four. You can pursue objectives independently or cooperate with other squads. The briefing says Combat Rating can rise as high as level 60; that is a mode progression cap, not a promise that every run reaches it.
What carries over from Endgame?
Endgame runs contribute to broader Black Ops 7 progression: Activision says players can earn player XP, weapon levels, weapon camos and Battle Pass progress. The official announcement also describes shared player progression and weapon leveling across the experience. This sits alongside the run-level stakes: extracting preserves hard-earned progress from the deployment, while death can cost those gains.

Will the game work on your platform?
If “Worlds Collide” appears in a download or installation listing, check that the game edition matches your platform and that you can play online. Xbox Wire lists Black Ops 7 as launching November 14, 2025, for Xbox, PC and PlayStation. Activision support says a continuous internet connection is required for every mode, including campaign.
