In a May 23, 2025 report, GamesRadar+ reproduced a NetherRealm statement that the studio would continue balance adjustments and fixes but would release no additional character DLC or story chapters, saying it needed to shift focus to its next project. GamesRadar+’s report records the studio’s position at that time; it should not be read as a guarantee about every later patch or update.
