The September 2024 leak coverage pointed to Iron Cavalry for Tingyun’s then-upcoming form, but it did not prove that the set would be her final or optimal build. HoYoverse later revealed Fugue as Tingyun’s five-star Fire break-support form, confirming the broad direction of the leak while leaving its specific relic recommendation unconfirmed.
What did the September 2024 leak report?
On September 12, 2024, Beebom reported a test-build loadout attributed to leaker Ubatcha for the character then discussed as Tingyun’s new form. The reported equipment was Solitary Healing as her Light Cone, Iron Cavalry as her Relic set, and Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern as her Planar Ornament. The listed stats included Effect Hit Rate, Speed, HP, and Energy Regeneration. Beebom’s report described leak material, not an official build announcement.
That coverage inferred that the character would be Fire Nihility and focus on Break and Super Break. Those were interpretations of the reported equipment and stats, not confirmed details in the leak itself. Its call to start pre-farming Iron Cavalry was therefore advice based on an unverified test-build snapshot—not proof of a final best-in-slot set.
What did HoYoverse later confirm about Fugue?
In the official Version 2.7 announcement published November 22, 2024, HoYoverse identified Fugue as Tingyun’s old friend and described her as a five-star Fire character. The announcement confirmed a break-oriented support role: Fugue can help reduce enemy resistance regardless of weakness type, apply Cloudflame effects associated with extra break damage, and enable allied Super Break damage against enemies whose Toughness has been broken. Her Technique increases allies’ Break Effect, while her Ultimate deals Fire damage and reduces enemy resistance. The official Version 2.7 announcement republished by PlayStation supports the broad Fire and break-support direction that the leak coverage anticipated.
It does not confirm Iron Cavalry, Solitary Healing, or Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern as Fugue’s final or optimal equipment. HoYoLAB’s Version 2.7 update details also list an adjustment to Tingyun’s English voice actor, but that update note is not evidence about her leaked build.
Should you farm Iron Cavalry for Fugue?
Not on the strength of this leak alone. The report is useful as a record of what one test-build leak was said to contain, and the later official reveal confirms that Fugue’s identity and broad break-support direction were consistent with the report’s interpretation. Neither establishes that Iron Cavalry is the best choice for her now.
If you are deciding how to spend Trailblaze Power, use current in-game information and up-to-date build guidance rather than treating the September 2024 recommendation as a farming requirement. The available official announcement describes Fugue’s role and abilities, not a relic ranking or farming route.

It was partly borne out in broad strokes: the later official reveal established Fugue as Tingyun and confirmed a five-star Fire character with break-focused support abilities. But the leak article’s specific equipment list and the interpretation of Fire Nihility were not validated by that announcement. The careful verdict is that the broad role prediction aligned with the official description; the Iron Cavalry recommendation remains an unconfirmed pre-release build claim.
